Pigmentation- is the coloring of a person’s skin. When a person is healthy, his or her skin will appear normal in color. In the case of illness or injury, the person’s skin may change color, becoming darker (hyperpigmentation) or lighter (hypopigmentation).Hyperpigmentation- in skin is caused by an increase in melanin, the substance in the body that is responsible for color
(pigment). Certain conditions, such as pregnancy or Addison’s disease (decreased function of the adrenal gland), may cause a greater production of melanin and hyperpigmentation. Exposure to sunlight is a major cause of hyperpigmentaion, and will darken already hyperpigmented areas. Hyperpigmentation can also be caused by various drugs, including some antibiotics, antiarrhythmics, and antimalarial drugs.

Melasma- An example of hyperpigmentation is melasma (also known as chloasma). This condition is characterized by tan or brown patches, most commonly on the face. Melasma can occur in pregnant women and is often called the “mask of pregnancy;” however, men can also develop this condition. Melasma frequently goes away after pregnancy.

Rosacea – is a chronic condition characterized by facial erythema (redness)] and sometimes pimples. Rosacea affects all ages and has four subtypes, three affecting the skin and the fourth affecting the eyes (ocular type).

Antioxidant-any of various substances (as beta-carotene, vitamin C, and alpha-tocopherol) that inhibit oxidation or reactions promoted by oxygen and peroxides and that include many held to protect the living body from the deleterious effects of free radical.

Free radicals- are molecules that are very unstable and seek to bond to other molecules to increase their stability. They are produced through a number of normal internal functions of the body as well as when the body is subjected to certain toxic environmental exposures. When free radicals bond to molecules within the body’s tissues, they can cause damage to cells or to DNA contained within the cells.Free radicals are thought to play a part in the ageing process.Antioxidants are thought to work, in part, by neutralizing free radicals.

BT Bio-Brasion Trinity Wet/Dry MicroDermabrasion System- Advanced technology a new standard in microdermabrasion. Combines crystal free microdermabrasion with a gentle vacuum technology and strategic products to provide effective exfoliation that leaves soft, radiant and glowing skin.  The gentle vacuum lifts skin to the diamond tip and than provides a specific serum boost to the skin by infusing it into the skins surface.

Ultrasonic Spatula-Is a new generation of microdermabrasion or what is being called soft peeling. There is little or no redness or down time with this treatment. It offers ablation or re texturing results with the safe and gentle use of ultrasound vibrations up to 28,000 cycles per second.

Enhancer- Uses short modulated pulses of low current to create transient aqueous pores in the skin. The application of an electrical pulse momentarily disrupts the cell membrane, allowing the entry of product, than returns to normal leaving the product in the cell. In other words “Opening a Door that allows us to insert products deeper into the skin” Also stimulates skin enabling muscle toning. Promotes collagen and elastin production.

LED Lighting-Celluma-Phototherapy uses wavelength of light, produced by (NASA) LED- (Light Emitting Diodes) to manage dermatological/musculosketal conditions. Provides heating to increase tissue temperature. Red light promotes collagen/elastin production. Blue light intended to help reduce appearance of mild/moderate acne.

Oxygen Therapy-Smooths/Plumps, Oxygen is sprayed at high pressure. A serum containing active ingredients (nutrients/vitamins) are atomized/delivered as a soothing mist and infused
(pushed) into skin. Oxygen acts as a catalyst, opens up the skin pores to allow increase absorption of active ingredients.

Parabens-A class of chemical widely used as preservatives by cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Most common are methylparaben, propylparaben and butylparaben.

Tama Microcurrent-Electromagnetic waves massage the muscles in the face to create a lifting effect.

Rezenerate-The cutting edge of using nanotechnology for deep penetration of specialty products. The Rezenerate Facial painlessly creates hundreds of thousands of microscopic permeation’s on the surface of the skin which allows for greater absorption of specialty serums. (Similar to micro needling without the painful side effects)
